Lamia

Lamia, in ancient Greek mythology, was a child-eating monster and, in later tradition, was regarded as a type of night-haunting spirit (daemon). In the earliest stories, Lamia was a beautiful queen of Libya who had an affair with Zeus. Upon learning this, Zeus's wife Hera forced Lamia to eat her own children, the offspring of her affair with Zeus.

This brand new ink and acrylic painting is created on thick handmade Khadi paper, the edges of the paper are rough and not straight, illustrating its handmade nature.

The inks and watercolours are worked into with water sprays and brushes, and overlaid with acrylic paint, the image is built up in layers.

This Original painting size is 21x29cm And is mounted on a canvas, this is ready to be hung, or you can get it framed.
As always this original painting comes with a hand written, wax sealed parchment for authenticity.

Please message me if you have any questions about the piece.
One of a Kind, This artwork is sold unframed.
